In response to President Biden’s January 21, 2021 Executive Order (Presidential Executive Order on Protecting Worker Health and Safety, January 21, 2021), OSHA launched a National Emphasis Program (NEP) on March 12, 2021 that contains policies and procedures designed to reduce or eliminate worker exposures to the virus SARS-CoV-2 that causes the disease COVID-19.
