Safety Training - Fit Testing
CCA provided fit testing for seven (7) Advocate Hospitals located in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
CCA provided fit testing for seven (7) Advocate Hospitals located in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Over ten thousand Advocate employees were fit tested during the course of the project. The purpose of the fit testing was to insure that all employees met the new federal safety guidelines and were able to don a TB protective respirator mask. The project involved complex scheduling issues, to ensure all employees from all shifts were fit tested. In addition, detailed record keeping was performed to document the names of all employees who successfully completed the fit test and daily maintenance of the test equipment was performed to provide the safest and cleanest equipment possible.
