CCA Panel gets Top Reviews at DMEC Conference

October 29, 2012 - Carnow Conibear presenters at DMEC’s 17th Annual Absence and Disability Management Conference received overwhelmingly positive feedback for their presentation. They discussed the benefits of Physical Demands Assessments (PDAs) and how to improve return-to-work programs.

More than 603 people participated in the conference, which took place August 14th in Denver,Colorado. They learned from those on the front lines of today’s most challenging issues during some 50 scheduled sessions and events that included personal accounts, case studies and applied research.

Results from evaluations of the presentation made by Dr. Shirley A. Conibear, John Dobby and Jeanne Boysen were overwhelmingly positive. Participants rated CCA’s session as “very good” both in overall content and relevance of information presented, as well as effectiveness of the presenters in conveying the information. The majority (80 percent) said the session met their expectations.

One commenter said, "This was a very practical session with a practical approach to determining RTW (return to work) abilities. I really enjoyed hearing their approach to that model of RTW, and I definitely think its applicable knowledge."
